    The Department of Neurology, at the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine, is seeking a cerebrovascular neurologist for a full time faculty position. The position is available in either the Health Sciences Clinical Professor or Clinical X series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.


    UC Davis Medical Center is an advanced primary stroke center primed to become a comprehensive stroke center within the next year. There exists a neurology residency program, neurocritical care ICU, 24 hours/7 day coverage for neuro-endovascular procedures, neurovascular neurosurgery, RN stroke coordinator, and a well-established telestroke/ teleneurology network.


    As a Level 1 Trauma Center UCDHS has the largest catchment area of the academic medical centers in California. UC Davis Medical Center and the Neurology and Neurosurgery department is nationally recognized for quality of patient care and provides clinical, academic, and research leadership in the region. There are highly active well-funded research programs and clinical trials in the cerebrovascular field in place.

    The Department of Pediatrics, University of California, Davis and the UC Davis Children’s Hospital is seeking two full-time academic neonatologists. The UC Davis Children’s Hospital has a Level IV 49- bed Neonatal Unit with an ACGME accredited fellowship program in Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine.The Children’s Hospital provides a full complement of pediatric sub-specialty care including pediatric and cardiovascular surgery, as well as ECMO. Also the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center (CTSC) is a major biomedical research facility with general and NIH funded programs.


    The positions are open at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank (commensurate with credentials) in the Clinical Pediatrics or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. Basic qualifications include a M.D. or D.O., Fellowship in Neonatology, board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Medicine, and eligibility for a California Medical License. Proven excellence in clinical care, education, and administrative experience is required. The experience or ability to foster collegiality and work collaboratively in a diverse environment is required.

    The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine is recruiting an academic pediatric infectious diseases faculty member. This appointment may be made between 80% and 100% (full time).


    The position is open at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank (commensurate with credentials) in the Clinical Pediatrics or Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The candidates will be expected to participate in clinical care, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and research activities of the Department of Pediatrics and serve on certain departmental committees. The candidates will be expected to do clinical service at participating regional hospitals. We expect that this position will be an active participant in antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention programs.

    The UC Davis Center for Precision Medicine in conjunction with the Division of Informatics in the Department of Public Health Sciences seeks an exceptional tenure track faculty candidate with experience and interests in conducting research in Precision Medicine Data Sciences at the rank of Associate or Professor in the Regular or InResidence series. The ideal candidate will be an established investigator able to analyze data sources and form teams to investigate new approaches to advance precision medicine at population scales, to address health disparities in well-defined populations, and able to apply these approaches through digital and system interventions. Candidates will have deep expertise in one or more disciplines such as oncology or mental health, and experience utilizing molecular, genomic, cellular, clinical, behavioral, physiological, and/or environmental data. Teaching and mentoring in these areas as applied to population precision health will be required.

    Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor – Correctional Behavioral Health. The University of California, Davis, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is recruiting for two Health Sciences Assistant/Associate Clinical Professors in the clinician/teaching series to serve as teaching attending physicians in its jail psychiatric program to which forensic fellows, residents, and medical students are assigned. The appointment is in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The applicant(s) will be evaluating and treating patients who are in custody at the jail. The applicant(s) will also be supervising general psychiatry residents and medical students with their adult cases on the inpatient unit and in the general population. In addition, the applicant(s) will engage in scholarly or creative activities derived from and in support of their clinical teaching, professional and service activities. The jail psychiatric service is a highly valued clinical rotation site for medical students and residents because of the diversity of the patient population and the high quality teaching.

    Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology, Applied Clinical Research Track with a focus on Information Technology applications.
    The Florida State University College of Medicine (FSUCOM) Immokalee Health Education Site is accepting applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the FSU Center for Child Stress & Health.
    The Fellow will assist with the development of programs on assessment and treatment for adverse childhood experiences and other types of trauma and stress in primary care settings. Research work will emphasize the use of Information Technology to create innovative behavior interventions and screening measures. The Fellow will work closely with faculty advisors in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the study including data collection and dissemination of findings.
