The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis seeks a visionary and dynamic director to lead the school’s Master’s Entry Program in Nursing and serve as a member of the school’s leadership team.
The Master’s Entry Program in Nursing director is a full-time, academic position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis was founded in 2009 with a $100 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Through this financial support and a shared vision to advance nursing education, the Master’s Entry Program in Nursing launched in 2016 to develop nurse leaders for the future.
This UC Davis Health position provides unique opportunities to:
- lead the growth of a young, innovative prelicensure nursing program focused on developing leaders in quality and safety, advocates for diverse patient populations and agents of change for healthier communities
- lead the development and growth of interprofessional learning experiences for nursing students
- work from the new, state-of-the-art facility, Betty Irene Moore Hall, at the UC Davis Sacramento campus.
