The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis seeks a visionary and dynamic director to lead the school’s Master of Health Services — Physician Assistant Studies Program and serve as a member of the school’s leadership team.
The physician assistant director is a full-time, academic position in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. The Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis was founded in 2009 with a $100 million grant from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. For more than 45 years, UC Davis has offered a physician assistant program. The program transitioned to a master’s degree program with the interprofessional School of Nursing in 2013.
This UC Davis Health position provides unique opportunities to:
- · lead the growth of a physician assistant program focused on the preparation of health care professionals who deliver care as members of interprofessional health care teams and improve the availability of culturally relevant primary health care to underserved populations
- lead the development and growth of interprofessional learning experiences for physician assistant students
- work from the new, state-of-the-art facility, Betty Irene Moore Hall, at the UC Davis Sacramento campus.
